"In grammar school they taught me that a frog turning into a prince was a fairy tale. In the university they taught me that a frog turning into a prince was a fact!" -Ron Carlson
Today someone asked me where they could find the "real" animals. They were coming from the, rather large, section of the zoo which houses some birds and most of our reptiles - snakes, lizards, galapagos tortises etc. That part of the zoo doesn't happen to have access to the rest of the zoo. You have to go back toward the entrance, and take one of the many other paths. I just pointed her back toward the entrance, but I really wanted to ask her if by "real animals" she meant cuddly furry ones. If she said yes, I would've just told her to try the gift shop.
