Just got back from seeing Hidalgo. Pretty good movie. Needed a little editing here and there (loooong riding across the desert sequences) and a little angsty for my tastes, but other than that, I liked it. Lotsa horses. :) Viggo Mortensen makes a good king and cowboy. I was worried I might not be able to think of him as anything but Aragorn, but he's pretty convincing. I think my problem is I've seen all three LOTR movies way too many times than is healthy for anyone, so in my mind, Viggo = Aragorn. But as long as he keeps making movies, maybe it won't stick. :D
