School? What's that?

Ok, so I'm really getting into Alias, even though I've only just begun watching it, and I decided I really needed to catch up on the show. Lucky for me, the first season was just released on DVD, but seeing as how it's so darn expensive, I decided to rent it from Blockbuster. They've split up the season into three volumes, each with 8 episodes (or 2 with 8 and one with 6; I think there's 22 eps in a season), but when I went to my local BB the other day to see if they had it, it was only a 2 day rental! No way I could watch 8 episodes in two days in the middle of the week, so I went back today so I would have the weekend to do homework and such. Well, color me all kinds of surprised when I picked it up, and it no longer had the two day rental thingy on it; it's now a week rental! I think, great, I can watch one or two eps a day and finish them all and still get to my homework! So as soon as I get home from class I decide to watch an ep, then get to work on my homework. I ended up watching 5 eps in a row. Well, I did stop once because I was feeling so incredibly guilty that I took about 30 minutes to do a little English homework. Then I went back to Alias. It's so hard to just stop watching after an ep ends, because almost all of them seem to end on cliffhangers! Or, if not a cliffhanger, at least something really bad happening, and you gotta see what happens next! It's just like Farscape in that regard, which really worries me, 'cause I don't want to get hooked on another show for fear of it getting cancelled, but I'm afraid it's too late. *sigh* Oh yeah, and getting hooked on it like this means that I shove homework aside until the last minute. At least until I catch up on all the eps. There's only two seasons to catch up on though, and the second one isn't even out yet, so there's some hope for my school work yet. I'd still really like to know how Sydney manages to be a CIA double agent and a grad student at the same time.
