Didn't we just leave this party?

School starts a week from today. It seems like the last day of school was just a few days ago. Sheesh. Why'd this summer have to go by so fast? Hoping this semester won't be too bad. I say that every semester though. At least one class I'm hoping I'll like. As long as the teacher isn't Eeeeeviltm, Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature should be fun, at least parts of it. Got my books today, and found out I have to read Harry Potter for it. Meh. But I also get to read Hitchhiker's Guide. :D The Hobbit too, and yes, I'm a bad sci-fi/fantasy fan because I've never read it. That will be corrected this semester. I'm thinking of gettting a head start on it anyway before the class starts. Now I just wonder what kind of writing we'll have to do for that class.

On a completely unrelated note, yesterday I was giving a break to the Panda VAO; only Gao Gao was out and he was sleeping. This woman comes up to me and asks me what time he's going to wake up. That's the closest I've ever come to laughing in someone's face at that job. Fortunately I managed to stifle it and I think I said something along the lines of whenever he darn well feels like it. I might also add that watching people trying to park their cars is very amusing. At least up in the Tower I can laugh at people and they don't even realize anyone's watching. *eg*
